Ken Slocum is a former Arkansas Drug Recognition Expert State Coordinator and Traffic Safety Program Manager at the Criminal Justice Institute, Little Rock, Arkansas. Ken was responsible for oversight and administration of the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement, and Drug Recognition Expert programs for the State of Arkansas. He has instructed basic academy classes as well as specialized classed in Arkansas and Louisiana. He has been qualified as an expert in Arkansas and Louisiana. He is a twenty-three year veteran law enforcement officer.  He currently is enrolled in the Executive Masters of Public Service at the Clinton School of Public Service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
